As part of DPOW 2024, Power of Women had the distinguished honor of being a part of delivering civil society’s official policy recommendations—representing the voices of global citizens—to President Lula at the G20 Social in Brazil. In a historic moment for inclusive global governance, the recommendations were formally presented on behalf of POW by the first female Arab Nobel Laureate, underscoring women’s leadership in shaping the future of the G20 and beyond
DPOW (Digital Power of Women) 2024 is an international digital event hosted by Power of Women and in collaboration with G20 Social and its engagement groups, presenting cross-cutting policy recommendations that are inclusive and reflect the female perspective to influence the decision-making process and shape the global economic, social, and environmental policies of the G20.
