  • Power Of Girls Clubs

    The first Power of Girls Clubs were launched in Kinoni, Uganda to increase the school retention rate among girls and prepare them for college and leadership roles in their communities. 10 clubs were formed initially in Kinoni, with a total of 132 girls aged between 6 and 21.

    As of April 2025, in less than a year, we have expanded the number of girls to 289 and 12 Clubs in Kinoni, Uganda and beyond.

    Monthly Calls

    We have our monthly digital calls with the POG Clubs in Kinoni, Uganda where all girls meet with us each month. Our goal is to equip these young ladies with leadership skills, confidence, public speaking and self-advocacy to be the change they want to see in their communities.

  • Power Of Girls Clubs

    Participating at the 2nd Annual Digital Power Of Women Conference 2024 during G20 Brazil learning about Cisco Networking Academy Digital Certifications introduced during B20 (Business20 for G20) Brazil Segment broadcasted globally and Uganda tuned in.

    Post DPOW 2025 Conference, Power Of Women partnered with Cisco Networking Academy to provide Power Of Girls Clubs members with free digital courses on Ai, Digital Awareness, Storytelling, Introduction to Entreprenureship and more to earn digital certifications.

  • For Mother Earth

    Power Of Girls Clubs members along with the Rotary Club of Kinoni Coordinators are planting trees and creating green spaces. Serving Earth With Action (SEWA)

    They are also getting the community at large involved to compost human waste to create bio-friendly fertilizers farmers can purchase. They are coming together to think and act on creative ways to generate an income to their communities while SEWA.

  • Period Education: AfriPads

    Power Of Women partnered with AfriPads to provide Power Of Girls Clubs members with 1-year supply of period products and period education to the clubs. We provided 134 girls with Period Kits.
